Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3 phones were launched at the company’s global launch event on Monday in Europe.
The company has scheduled an India-specific event on March 30, and it is largely anticipated to launch the Poco X3 Pro in the region.
Poco X3 Pro smartphone was launched on 22nd March 2021. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch 120hz LCD display with 240hz Touch Sampling . Poco X3 Pro is powered by a 2.96GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor which is like an overclocked version of Snapdragon 855. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The Poco X3 Pro runs Android 11 with MIUI 12 and is powered by a 5160mAh battery. The Poco X3 Pro comes with a 33W fast charger and has QC 5+ support .
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Poco X3 Pro on the rear packs a 48-megapixel IMX 582 primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture which can shoot upto 4K 30 FPS and an 8-megapixel Ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It sports a 20-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The Camera set-up in Poco X3 Pro is very similar to what we had in Poco X3 but instead of IMX 686, we get IMX 582 which does not support 4K 60FPS recording. Never the less, Camera performance will be better than Poco X3, Thanks to the better image processor. Along with the 8MP ultra wide angle camera, we have two 2-megapixel (macro and depth) sensors. The phone also features a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front with f/2.2 aperture. Camera features include dual video, video clones, ultra-wide with night mode, and night mode selfie.
The Poco X3 Pro runs MIUI 12 for Poco is based on Android 11 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). It was launched in Phantom Black, Frost Blue, and Metal Bronze colors.
Connectivity options on the Poco X3 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include a fingerprint sensor.
Other specifications goes like – 450nits brightness, HDR 10 support and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC is a 7mm octa-core paired with Adreno 640 GPU.
The company says the Poco X3 Pro is the first phone to be powered by this processor. It is said to have an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 500,000, performing 52 percent better than the Snapdragon 765G SoC. It packs up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also brings microSD card support for storage expansion via a hybrid sim slot up to 1TB.
There is a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support on board the Poco X3 Pro. It is said to charge to 100 percent in as little as 59 minutes. The battery is said to last for up to 11 hours of gaming, 117 hours of music, 18 hours of video playback, and 6.5 hours of 1080p video recording. The phone has dual speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, and a headphone jack. It integrates LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus for better heat dissipation.
Basically it is the same Poco X3 with a way better processor. It was launched in Europe at ₤249 with an early bird price of ₤199 which is equal to ₹17,000 and by any chance if this phone launches at this price, it will take the market by a storm. It will be a perfect successor to Poco F1.
