Performance

Launching in the mid-range budget section at just Rs. 15K, RealMe X2 is actually pretty good for it is being offered at. Good Processor, Enough RAM, expandable internal storage, pretty good camera and not forgetting the VOOC fast charging which will charge your phone fully in under half an hour.

Honestly, for what you are paying ? It’s a pretty good deal. It won’t lag even during heavy tasks though multi-tasking can sometimes cause some minor issues but that’s not what you’re expecting to do on a mid-range device. It’ll handle most multitaskings including using multiple social media pretty well though. At 15K ? You won’t go wrong with this.

Design

realme

Again with a water-drop notch, Realme has stuck with the design. Coming with a quad camera setup, X2 actually looks pretty good. That gradient back shines and looks good when refracting light and it is distinguishable from other devices in the market.

The camera bay is positioned on the left of its back with a 4 cameras in a line and a flash outside the camera module just to its right. Realme’s signature pearl white back looks amazing honestly and would be our pick if you ask us.

Display

realme

Realme X2 comes with a AMOLED bezel less Display at Full HD+ Resolution. Sadly there’s no 90Hz refresh rate on this one, but then again, it’s a mid-range device coming at just Rs. 16K so there’s nothing to complain about. The display is bright and vibrant for everyday use and the absence of higher refresh rate, it won’t be eating much of your battery.

Camera

realme

A quad camera setup with a main 64MP shooter coming at f/1.8 minimum aperture. Being able to shoot in HDR, your pictures will turn out to be pretty crisp and vibrant. Adding that 2MP Depth sensor, those portraits will have a good Bokeh effect to blur that background to enhance the subject.

The main 64MP sensor shoots in 4K at 30fps for those video memories. Adding the continuous shooting mode, you won’t miss on that action. The front 32MP cam makes sure you have a clear video call.

All in all, The camera setup on Realme X2 is pretty good and provides you with a lot of options to satisfy that inner photographer in you.

Battery

Another device coming with a juicy 4000 mAh battery that’ll most probably last you whole day on one charge. But even then, coming with VOOC fast charging, it’s gonna take you just under half an hour to charge your device to the full if you run out of those 4000 mAh while you hunt people during that PUBG session.

Recently many devices have started to come with a 4000 mAh battery and honestly telling, it should be enough for most of us who don’t game on a regular basis and are generally on social media or moderate us only.

Price

Realme X2 will come to the market on December 5, 2019 starting at just Rs. 15,900 in India and ~$225 in the United States.

Should you BUY IT ?

At what is being offered at, Realme X2 is a really good deal and if you’re on a budget, you should definitely check it out.

According to us ? Realme X2 is a great deal and can be bought if you like the brand and it’s UI. The device will give you around a year and a half of usage before it starts lagging handling day-to-day tasks. That is keeping in mind you’re not a power user and will be using the device for general Social Media surfing and internet browsing and not gaming.
