When the news came out that the San Diego Comic Con 2020 will be canceled this year due to this global pandemic, all fans and geeks around the globe were heartbroken. But this we all got excited when this new virtual edition of Comic Con was announced, Comic Con @ Home.

So, in this article we are gonna take a look at some of the biggest trailer reveals both from film and tv announced during the Comic Con 2020 @ Home.

 

1. The New Mutants


US Release Date: August 28, 2020 | Starring: Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy | Directed By: Josh Boone

We got some new footage of this long-awaited /delayed film from the house of X men but wait until August 28 for more info about the film. The film takes a more of a horror take on the  X men’s side of Marvel Comics. It starts Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. Magik, Wolfsbane and other teenage mutants try to come to grips with their superpowers while staying at a secret facility.

 

2. Bill & Ted Face the Music


US Release Date: September 1, 2020 | Starring: Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter | Directed By: Dean Parisot

After almost 30 years we are finny getting the third film in this hit comedy franchise which will now release in select theatres on September 1. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are reuniting once again to play the fan-favourite duo. A visitor from the future tells best friends Bill and Ted that one of their songs can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe.

 

3. Marvel’s Helstorm


Release Date: October 16, 2020 | Starring: Tom Austen, Sydney Lemmon, Elizabeth Marvel, Robert Wisdom, Ariana Guerra, June Carryl, Alain Uy | Directed By: TBA | Show Runner: Paul Zbyszewski

In this dark fantasy series based on the Marvel comic characters, Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon star as a pair of siblings who are the children of a serial killer and “hunt the worst of mankind.” Austen, Lemmon, and co-stars Elizabeth Marvel, Robert Wisdom, Ariana Guerra, and more were on hand during their Comic Con @ Home panel to give a preview of the upcoming new series.

4. His Dark Materials


Release Date: November, 2020 (rumoured) | Starring: Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda | Directed By: TBA | Developed by: Jack Thorne

HBO recently released the trailer of the second season of this hit fantasy series based on the famous series of books of the same name. In this season we will take a deep dive into the lore and world of this series and some amazing new cast that includes Andrew Scott, Jade Anouka, and Simone Kirby.

 

5. The Boys


Release Date: September 4, 2020 | Starring: Carl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso and others | Directed By: TBA | Developed by: Eric Kripke

The second season of this hard R rated comic book series will return on September 4 and in this new sneak peek we can see Billy, Hughie, and co. square off against the Deep and his whale. With them being chased by the law, it’s harder than ever for The Boys to fight back.

 

6. Vikings


Release Date: TBA | Starring: Alexander Ludwig, Katheryn Winnick and others | Directed By: TBA | Created and Written by: Michael Hirst

The second half of the sixth season will premiere in the Fall of 2020 and now there is a teaser of what will happen that is hinting some of the best sequences from the latter half of the season. The new trailer was released on the panel of this series.

 

7. Lovecraft Country

This horror-drama series will be debuting on HBO on August 16 and the fans of the dark fantasy side of the whole fiction genre get excited by Watching This New Trailer Which was released during the panel of the series creators. The drama follows Atticus Black (Jonathan Majors) and associate Letitia Dandridge (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) as they journey through Jim Crow America battling racism and Horror creatures.

 

8. The Walking Dead: World Beyond

The Walking Dead: World Beyond, which follows a group of adolescents who become the first generation of children to be born and raised during the zombie outbreak. We’ve already had a bunch of sneak peeks and teasers for the new show, but we’ve got a new trailer from the panel with footage we haven’t seen before.

 

9. Archer
