Performance

IMG 6758

Mi 10 scores a whopping 585K on Antutu benchmark. Possibly the fastest available to buy right now! The price is definitely on the premium side but considering the fact it is a full package with everything top notch, it is worth it.

Mi 10 has worked alot to fix the flaws which the previous iterations had. Some of them were necessary to keep the price low but with this phone, Xiaomi is going all in. This phone has Dual stereo speakers which are very loud and clear. It also comes with Hi-fi audio certification which means that the output via earphones will be excellent.

One of the most underrated features of this phone is the new Haptic feedback motor which gives a lot pronounced vibrations, something you only find in iPhones.

Design

Xiaomi Mi 10 has a normal glass back with Gorilla glass 6 protection and has 3 colours – Pink, Green and Blue.

Mi 10 Pro comes in 2 colours White and Dark Blue with matte finish. The build is very premium and the curves on the display are not too much like a waterfall display but very subtle ones to give an edge to edge display feel.

Display

Display on Mi 10 series is specifically designed together by Xiaomi and TCL subsidiary Huaxing Optoelectronics panel. And costs a lot more than any normal displays out there.

The punch hole is even smaller than the one on Samsung S20.
It has also been revealed that the screen is manufactured using what is called Direct On-cell Touch (DOT) Technology which has the touch sensor built into the thin-film encapsulation of the display. Other display manufacturing methods place the touch film on the panel. The advantages DOT Technology has are a thinner display and a reduction in production cost. This year’s iPhones are expected to use a similar display technology.

The brightness can go upto 1180 nits and hence is one of the brightest display out there.

Cameras on Mi 10 series are no slouch. It comes with 108Mp camera with OIS, 2Mp depth sensor and 13/20mp wide angle lens. The pro version comes a telephoto lens and the normal varient comes with 2mp macro lens. Since this phone has a massive 108mp sensor, 2x and 3x zoom images can just be shot with the primary lens and come out sharp.

Battery

Mi 10 pro supports 50w fast charging, 30w Wireless and 10w reverse wireless charging. It comes with a 65w charger in the box which is weird, looks like Xiaomi couldn’t control the heating issues with 65W charging. And hence limited the charging capacity.

Price

Xiaomi Mi 10 was launched at 3,999 Chinese Yuan (CNY) that converts approximately to ₹40,999 or roughly $575
