Samsung Launched their flagships for the year and damn, they are pretty attractive.
We definitely had some mixed feelings about the design when we saw the renders but they are much better in real.
We got Galaxy S21 5G, S21 Plus 5G and S21 Ultra 5G.
We won’t go in detail about the specs here, just an overview and our opinions.

Exynos 2100
All these phones will come with Exynos 2100 in India and it is surprisingly, NOT BAD. The chip is based on 5nm process and performs way better than its predecessor. Though there are reports that it throttles with extended use but with few software updates and some optimisation it will be good. Not better than SD888 but yes now you guys can actually buy a Samsung phone without worrying about the performance.
S21 – more like S21 FE ?
Looks like Samsung launched S21 just so that they can make the S21 Ultra look like value for money. You lose a lot of things from its predecessor including SD Card slot which is justified because slower SD cards degrade the performance and people hardly use them.
One UI 3 is pretty amazing and you will love the size of this phone, it feels compact at 6.2 inches. LOL
Here’s what we liked and didn’t like about the phone:
Good | Bad |
• Display – Flat and 120hz with gorilla glass victous❤️ • Camera – 12+12+64 MP camera system isn’t something extra ordinary but very reliable and it can shoot at 8K • Colours – The Violet and gold accent is a crowd pleaser | • No charger – You dont get a charger in box and you have to buy it seperately. Thanks Apple. • Full HD display – The last time Samsung S Series had Full HD display was in S5. • Plastic Build – Frame is metal but you get a plastic back. • Price – With no charger, Plastic back, FHD display, this phone costs ₹70K |
S21 Plus
Very similar to S20 but now has a bigger display, battery and a glass back. Rest EVERYTHING is almost same and you pay ₹82K for this.
S21 Ultra
Here comes the big boy. And it actually looks better than the last years model.
The cameras are similar to the last years model but now has a new HMX3 sensor and a way better Focusing system.
With New ISP and software features, the 100x zoom is more stable, you can shoot at 4K 60fps on all cameras, you can click from all cameras at once and the new feature called director’s view allows you to use 2 cameras simultaneously.
The display is gorgeous and now you can actually use it at QHD+ 120hz which varies from 10-120hz to save battery.
This phone also supports S-Pen but you need a case for that.
It has a matte rough glass at the back and looks very good in black.
The fingerprint scanner is now way faster and has a larger area. You get 256/512 GB storage and 12GB RAM at ₹1,05,000 and yet no charger 🤦
If we compare it with iPhone, this phone will look Value for money but would recommend to wait before buying this, because its prices are going to drop pretty quickly as we saw with previous Galaxy S phones. These phones will get 3 years of Android updates which even Pixel doesn’t promise.
