Square Enix announced in their recent Nier-centric live stream titled “We Have a Decent Amount of New Info”  that the Nier Replicant Remastered game from the PS3 generation is releasing on Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on April 23, 2021. It is set to be called Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 and to follow the original Japanese story line which “invites players into a dark, apocalyptic world as they join a brother’s captivating quest to cure his sister of a deadly disease- a quest which will in turn make them question everything.”

There will also be a deluxe version of Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 for the collectors, which is titled: the White Snow Edition. The White Snow Edition includes a copy of the game, along with a steel-book case; three metal pins; a seven-volume set of the game’s recording script; and a two-CD soundtrack set that comes in a grimoire-style package. It comes in deluxe packaging and is available for pre-order in Japan for 19,800 yen (around $188), and will come to North America too but it is at an undetermined price at the moment.

 

Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 is available on online stores of each of the above platforms. PC players can pre-purchase the game right now via Steam. Players will be rewarded with certain pre-order bonuses, depending on the platform of purchase. The pre-order bonuses are as follows:

  • PS4: Dynamic Theme, Mini Sountrack, Avatar Set
  • Steam: Mini Soundtrack, Wallpaper Collection
  • XB1: Mini Soundtrack
