Unless you have been living under a rock, or in a very deep cave, you probably have heard about something called clubhouse.
Ok, so let’s start with the most obvious question?
WHAT ON EARTH IS CLUBHOUSE?
Basically, it is a ticket to listen in to other people’s conversations ( LEGALLY OFC! ) and putting your own opinion in, if they permit.
It’s an app for voice chatting with countless strangers or friends on topics that interest you.
Clubhouse is an invitation-only social media app for iOS and Android where users can communicate in voice chat rooms that accommodate groups of thousands of people. The audio-only app hosts live discussions, with opportunities to participate through speaking and listening.
Clubhouse saw a massive jump in downloads after the global Android app launch, but the developers are still maintaining an ‘invite-only approach. The founders of Clubhouse, Paul Davidson and Rohan Seth mentioned on the official Clubhouse website that the invitation-only approach helps to monitor the growth of the application and brings credibility.
BUT WHY ARE ALL OF MY FRIENDS ALL OF A SUDDEN USING IT?
The clubhouse is currently available on iOS and Android.
It launched on iOS last year, and the company started a US-only Android rollout in early May.
As of May 21, it’s available on Android worldwide, and downloads of the Android version crossed 1 million in less than two weeks.
It rose to fame with Elon Musk. popping up in a Clubhouse room in January. Bill Gates also helped popularise them.
So when it was available for android users in the US & IOS / Android Users globally, people jumped at the chance to sign up for this social media network.
NOW, THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT
HOW DO I GET IN
At the time of this writing, you still need an invitation from an existing Clubhouse user to get access.
Every new user gets 5 invites, and they earn more as they use the app. Ask your friends if they have one. You could buy an invite on eBay or try a “pay-it-forward” invite chain, but be wary of invite scams.
As the popularity of the Clubhouse Android app increases, users are wondering about how to get a Clubhouse invite code. Currently, there are only two legitimate ways of getting into the community.
Ask a friend who is already on the Clubhouse App to send you an invite. Clubhouse users get 5 invites initially as they join the application.
Join the Clubhouse waiting list and wait. However, there is no particular answer to how much time will it take.
Your contacts will be able to let you in clubhouse and they will be credited on your profile.
Now that the application is available on a much larger scale, the sign-up process might hold down the app. Other social media apps such as Facebook and Twitter are already working on their ‘voice-only products. With time, users will have more alternatives and they would choose the one which is easy to get into.

WHAT IS UP WITH THE ICON
Clubhouse has stood out due to its rather unusual app icon from the very beginning.
Instead of a logo icon, they have been using pictures of real life people. Who these people are and why there is a logo icon going around on the internet .
WHY CAN’T I GET SOME FEATURES? (With an android phone )
While the Clubhouse Android app is launched, it does not have all the options as the native app.
Features such as topic-following, in-app translations, club creation, linking other social media accounts, and sidebar are currently missing from the Clubhouse Android app. In the ‘Android Users’ section of their official website, Clubhouse has mentioned that these features would be rolling out to Android soon.
SO, ALL I NEED IS AN APP? WHAT ABOUT A WEBSITE
The only website the company has is joinclubhouse.com, and it’s simply a pointer to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
